Softball Bats Coming Alive

Nothing beats some great hitting and work at the plate during summer softball! There have been some bats heating up around the country lately. Let's take a look at some of the players that have been seeing their bats come alive!

Shaniya Lane (2025, OF, Piedmont Academy, Tennessee)

Lane was really good from the plate in the Diamond Classic. She slapped the ball all around the field and used her speed on the bases to grind out hits.

Brooke Watson (2024, 3B / RHP, Boyd Buchanan School, Tennessee)

Watson had an electric bat for the EC Bullets 16u at the Champions Classic. She hit .500 on the weekend showing some pop off her bat and hitting a homerun.

Kiana Noel (2027, CF, Fort Zumwalt North, Missouri)

Noel's bat has been on a tear the month of June. She's been strong at the plate with runners in scoring position and even laying down a solid bunt to advance runners and use her speed.

Carley Funk (2025, OF / 3B, Leo High School, Indiana)

Funk has a reputation as a hard worker that likes to perfect her craft. Well, it's paying off. She recently spent the weekend hitting .429 and some velocity off the bat. Funk finished the weekend with 2 doubles, a homerun and 5 RBI's.

Kinzee Motley (2024, OF / 3B / Utility, Cox Mill, North Carolina)

Motley's bat was hot at the Diamond Elite Showcase! She seemed to see the ball well at the plate and went 4-9.

Danielle Franz (2024, 3B / C / OF, Hononegah Community High School, Illinois)

Franz bat heated up for her Silver Hawks team at Battle of the Borders. She hit multiple homeruns including a grand slam no doubter.

Madelyn Halle (2025, Pineville High School, Louisiana)

Halle's bat was a key part of the LaBombers 16u team's 4-1 record at the Top Club National Championships. She hit the ball hard, lifting it over the fence for a homerun.
