Quaker State 400 Preview And Predictions

Just 2 weeks ago we gave you the race winner in our favorites for the Ally 400. Last week in the first ever street race, we didn't get the winner, but all 3 of our Kamp's Korner favorites DID finish in the top 8.

This week, NASCAR travels to Georgia for the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The speedway is a 1.5 mile oval track that held it's first Cup Series race back in 1960. The Quaker State 400 is scheduled to start at 7PM on Sunday.

KAMP'S KORNER FAVORITES

Ryan Blaney

Blaney sits around +1200 odds to win the Quaker State 400. If you force me to pick a winner, I'd probably go with the number 12. He's been one of, if not the best, driver at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. He has the best average finish on the track in the field.

Marin Truex Jr.

With his odds sitting by +2500, I could sneak Truex Jr. into our sleeper pick. But I won't do that. I'm going to put him right here because I really think that he has a good chance to win this race. If Truex Jr. can find some clean air in the Atlanta Motor Speedway hodgepodge, he could bring home the checkered flag.

Chase Elliott

Elliott is a NASCAR star, and in all sports, stars do star things. Elliott needs a win and needs it pretty badly. A victory would secure his spot in the playoffs. Right now he can be found with +1100 odds. Elliott is on a nice little top 5 finish streak and won at the Atlanta Motor Speedway last summer, so he's proven that he can race the track.

KAMP'S KORNER SLEEPER

Ty Gibbs

I put Truex Jr. in our favorites, well because I wanted Ty Gibbs as our sleeper. It may seem like ages ago, but back in March he had his first top 10 finish Cup Series finish at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Gibbs can found with +2200 odds.
