Offensive lineman never seem to get the credit and publicity that they deserve. Well, today is their day! Today is the day that we celebrate the big guys that pave the way for their teammates. We're going to look closer at 5 high school offensive lineman that coaches and scouts should be well aware of.
Brock Heath (2025, OL, Blue Valley Northwest High School, Kansas)
Heath is an exciting OL prospect. He's quick off the ball and seems to like to initiate contact. Stevens has really strong hands and forearms. One he locks in with a defender, he keeps them in front and controlled.
Bryson Reynolds (2025, OL, Graceville High School, Florida)
Reynolds has so much upside as an o-lineman. He's a powerful bruiser that can simply move the defensive line back. Reynolds' potential may lie in his feet, as he can change direction and has good hip movement.
Tyler Duncan (2025, OL, Keystone Heights High School, Florida)
Duncan has been turning heads as an o-line prospect this summer. He's been active and impressive on the camp circuit from Tennessee to Florida. Duncan has impressed with his footwork, especially when pass blocking.
Dakarai Sumter (2024, OL, Lower Richland High School, South Carolina)
Sumter should be considered one of the most talented tackles in the country. He can absolutely bury a defender. At 6-9 and 300 plus, he's an intimidating figure, but moves well enough to pull and can get downfield and block a linebacker at the second level.
Ethan Villarreal (2026, OL, Allen High School, Texas)
Villarreal is a talented offensive lineman that coaches are going to want to keep an eye on. He's a really strong young man with pretty powerful legs. He has a good strong base both run and pass blocking. Villarreal is one of those kids that blocks like he loves it.
