Kamp's Korner Fantasy Football - Week 1 Review

Top Scoring Team:  Team Fatguy (124.84)

Top Scoring Quarterback:  Tua Tagovailoa - Team Punishment  (28.13)

Top Scoring RB:  Aaron Jones - Busch Light (25.70)

Top Scoring WR:  Tyreek Hill - Forward Down The Field (39.00)

Top Scoring TE:  TJ Hockenson - Forward Down The Field (7.50)

Game Of The Week:  Chef THC defeats T's Top Notch Team 110.52 to 101.44

At face value T's decision to play Travis Kelce despite him being out for the game against the Lions would seem to have done him in. However, even if he replaced Kelce with his backup tight end Dalton Kincaid, the points just weren't there. Then again, the top 4 performing TE's for the week were all free agents. Chef THC was led by big games from Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler.

Odds And Ends

First Place Fat Guy

Team Fat Guy stole the show in Week 1. There was at least 1 other fat guy (me) that was a little salty about his team's performance. All of this success despite having -0.20 points from Marvin Jones Jr. and 0.00 from Goedert. Team Fat Guy was carried by a huge performance by Brandon Aiyuk (28.90) and solid outings from Mahomes, David Montgomery, Mike Evans and Darnell Mooney.

Watch out for Washington

Despite Washington being virtually a rookie playing in his first competitive league, his team showed up in week 1 getting the win and scoring 123.70 points. His team probably showed the most depth in the league with 6 of his starters scoring in double digits. Not to mention, he had 2 players on the bench hot double digits as well. If that continues, Washington will be a problem in the Kamp's Korner Fantasy Football League.
