Crayon 301 Preview And Predictions

Last weeks Quaker State 400 wasn't our best week as far as predictions go, although Blaney looked good for a while. He was one of our favorites and won Stage 1 then finished 2nd in Stage 2. The race ended early due to rain and William Byron was declared the winner.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads east this Sunday and stops in Loudon, New Hampshire for the Crayon 301. The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a 1.058 mile track comprised of granite and asphalt. The Magic Mile has been a Cup Series stop since 1993. The race is scheduled to start at 2:30PM.

KAMP'S KORNER FAVORITES

Christopher Bell

This feels like sort of a going with the chalk type of pick, but the facts are the facts. Bell is pretty much the favorite at this point with odds at +550 on Draft Kings. He was victorious in Loudon in the Xfinity Series in 2018, 2019 and 2021. He won the Cup race last year.

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin is a confusing pick this week. Many are saying that they don't expect a win from him this week, despite his +700 odds on Draft King. When it doubt, look at history I guess. While Hamlin has never taken the checkered flag in New Hampshire, he has finished in the top 10 in 11 out of his last 13 races there.

Kevin Harvick

Harvick currently holds +900 odds on Draft Kings. Harvick tends to race well on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He won on the track in 2016, 2018 and 2019. Although disclaimer....he hasn't led a ton of laps. I just can't ignore the fact that Harvick has finished top 6 in 8 of the last 9 in Loudon.

KAMP'S KORNER SLEEPER

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski is currently at +2200 on Draft Kings. Pretty good value for a racer that has an average finish in New Hampshire at 3.7. In 3 races here, he's won 1, finished in the top 5 twice and has a low finish at 7th.
