College coaches have the tough task of tracking hundreds upon hundreds of baseball prospects. Here's some help with some players that have been turning heads.
Colby Clinkscales (2025, MIF / OF, Jim Ned High School, Texas)
Clinkscales is definitely drawing some attention in Texas. He's shown a nice bat with the ability to spray the ball opposite field.
Ryan Splitt (2024, LHP, Bolingbrook High School, Illinois)
Splitt is playing his summer ball with Hounds Baseball. He's an intriguing lefty pitching prospect that can get batters flailing and pick up K's.
Ryland Rogers (2024, MIF / OF / RHP, Northside High School, Georgia)
Rogers has been very impressive on the mound lately. He has a nice array of high quality pitches (fastball, curve and slider) that he can use to attack hitters.
David Cook (2027, RHP / 3B, Basset High School , Virginia)
Cook is a very talented pitching prospect. The young man knows how to throw strikes. He walks very few but strikes out plenty.
Chris Allen (2025, C / INF / RHP, Perkiomen Valley, Pennsylvania)
Allen is one of the better defensive catchers you'll see this summer. If you like mistake free play behind the plate, give him a look.
Luke Lacourse (2025, RHP / SS , Bay City Western High School, Michigan)
Lacourse is a high upside pitcher. He had a tremendous high school season. Lacourse finished high school season with a 1.25 ERA with 48 strikeouts to go with just 6 walks.
Tayshaun Bell (2025, 2B / P, Riverdale Baptist, Maryland)
Bell has been swinging a hot bat so far this summer. Bell has been impressively driven the ball hard off the bat into the outfield.
Luis McElearney (2024, RHP / 1B /INF, Epiphany School of Global Studies, North Carolina)
McElearney got his summer off to a nice start playing with Dirtbags Baseball Gold. He had a hot bad and worked counts well finishing 2-4 with 3 walks to open things up.
