Baseball Prospects To Watch

There are talented prep baseball prospects at every level and they can be found all over the country. We're going to give you a list of some players that should be on your "must see" list this summer.

Brennen Russo (2024, OF / 3B, Eastridge High School, Irondequoit, NY)

Russo is a talented prospect with a nice bat. He can be found playing this summer with Diamond Pro out of Rochester, NY.

Gavin Holt (2026, CF / RHP, Florence Christian School, South Carolina)

Holt is a talented young pitcher that moves the ball and works the plate. Holt has been racking up the K's early in the summer.

Chase Atkins (2027, SS / RHP, Bedford Junior High School, Michigan)

Atkins is a young player to keep an eye on. He's shown the ability to throw strikes and catch batters swinging late. He can be seen playing with the Rawlings Tigers out of Toledo.

Dylan Shawver (2025, 3B / RHP, Mount Union Area High School, Pennsylvania)

Shawver is currently playing with Flood City Elite. He's a strong kid that can launch the ball off the bat. He's a quality pitcher that can pick up K's as well.

Jacob Piper (2026, RHP, Simon Kenton, Kentucky)

Piper recently showed off a very strong bat at the Xavier University Prospect Elite Tournament. He batted .583 with 4 runs scored and 4 RBI's.

Matt Mareno (2025, RHP / 1B / OF, Saline High School, Michigan)

Mareno just finished an impressive high school varsity baseball season. He went 7-2 on the mound with a 2.97 ERA. Mareno struck out 43 batters in 42.1 innings of work.

Andrew Satunas (2026, C / UT, St. Laurence High School, Illinois)

Satunas opened the summer strong for the Cangelosi Sparks 2026. To open the season, he went 4-5 with 2 singles, double and a triple.

Nate Heck (2026, C / RHP, Anchor Bay High School, Michigan)

Heck can be found playing for the Michigan Brewers 15u Parr team. He's a strong and tough defensive catcher that makes solid contact at the plate and can move runners.
