Usually we give you a group of top notch athletes from a particular sport. But today, let's take a little different approach. Athletes and fans are really lucky because there are a good number of high school sports as well as a good number of talented people in those sports. We randomly chose 5 high school sports and 1 star athlete from each of those. So we have "5 Sports And 5 Prospects"! Let's take a look!
Tova Craig (2024, Volleyball, Coronado High School, Nevada)
Craig is an incredibly talented volleyball prospect. She was incredibly impressive this summer with the Vegas Aces. Craig is one of the better defensive players that I've seen, often helping to turn good defense into winning offense. With her elite reaction time, she seems to be able to make a dig in even the toughest situations.
Clare Marchant (2024, Track and Field, Brookfield Central, Wisconsin)
Marchant has had a huge calendar year when it comes to her track accomplishments. First off, she dropped a long standing Brookfield Central record. Then she finished in 8th place in the state finals in the 300 meter low hurdles. Then she went to the Junior Olympics and finished 6th in the 400h and 2nd in the 4x4.
Allie Cassidy (2026, Soccer, Zionsville High School, Indiana)
Cassidy is an excellent soccer prospect. She has been starring with the Indy Premier Soccer Club 08G Elite and has proven to be a top notch midfielder. Cassidy is always on the move and in the right spot. She's very solid turning defense into offense even in a crowded midfield.
Maggie Grant (2024, Softball, Inland Lakes High School, Michigan)
Grant is a RHP and an outfielder. She's a softball player that carries a reputation as a hard worker that's willing to go the extra mile to maximize her potential. Grant can effectively move the ball up and down and put it where she wants on the plate. She has power at the plate as well with the ability to clear the fences.
Keagen Kohlhoff (2025, Baseball, Birch Run High School, Michigan)
Kohlhoff is a high upside prospect out of Michigan. He throws the ball with excellent velocity, hitting the low to mid nineties with his fastball. Kohlhoff can change speeds and move the ball as well with a pretty nasty curve. He catches a lot of hitters way behind the ball or stuck watching.
