5 Must See Prospects From Kentucky

The state if Kentucky has some really good high school football going on right now. There are plenty of players that college coaches, scouts and fans of the game should have their eyes on. We're going to give you 5 prospects from Kentucky that should be considered "must see".

Blaze Berry (2025, QB, Eminence High School, Kentucky)

Berry is having a terrific season at the QB helm for Eminence. He's shown a lot of mobility this season, avoiding pressure and being able to keep his eyes downfield. Berry can hit his targets downfield even when pushed out of the pocket. He's done a very good job showing that he can work through progressions and find the open man.

Markezz Hightower (2026, RB, Madisonville-North Hopkins, Kentucky)

Hightower is having very impressive season and is more than worth a watch! He's a north-south runner that explodes through holes. Hightower runs the ball with excellent balance and bouncy feet that never stay glued to the ground, Best part of his game may be his willingness and ability to deliver a punch when blocking.

Noah Rhinerson (2024, WR, Owensboro Catholic, Kentucky)

Rhinerson is one of the more exciting wideouts to watch, He does his best work out of the slot where he can catch balls across the middle as well as turn out and make plays in the outer thirds of the field. It'd be scary to see Rhinerson's YAC stats because he's tough to take down and makes big plays after he secures the ball. He's definitely shown top notch elusiveness and start-stop speed.

Logan Julian (2024, MLB, Tates Creek High School , Kentucky)

Julian has been making a very loud statement with his play so far this high school season. He takes good angles and is almost always the one to make the hit, not the one to receive it. Julian reads the action out of the backfield and goes and makes plays. He's also very good in coverage across the middle. It's hard to make a big play when Julian is in the middle, as he can chase down an opponent and limit their yards after catch.

Avaion Johnson (2025, FS, Louisville Central, Kentucky)

Johnson is flat out a special player and prospect. He's a good old fashioned playmaker on the defensive side of the field. Johnson is incredibly fast when it comes to straight line speed, but his most impressive skill might be his lateral movement and agility. Johnson can start deep middle and still make a play in the short corners. He can ball hawk from deep and make plays on the ball.
