High school football season is in full gear and the talented players are showing out. There are athletes that have shown next level skills at every level. Everyone know that the talent is deep and rich in the Buckeye state. We're going to look at 5 must see prospects from Ohio.

Luke Mullins (2026, MLB, Mount Vernon High School, Ohio)

Mullins has had a fantastic season so far. He reads the offense and finds the ball on a consistent basis, putting himself in position to rack up tackles. Mullins has shown the ability to meet rushers at the line and stop the run as well as be effective covering the middle of the field on passing downs.

Aaron Walters (2025, QB, Logan Elm High School, Ohio)

Walters has been showing out, stockpiling some eye popping numbers this season. He's shown off a strong arm with the ability to send the ball out his hands with velocity, allowing him to slice through linebackers in the middle of the field. Walters has shown great touch on the ball on the outer thirds of the field dropping the ball right into his receivers hands.

Caiden Maize (2024, RB, Eastwood High School, Ohio)

Maize has put up over 900 yards already this season. He's shown elusiveness as well as breakaway speed with 4.8 40 yard dash time. Maize is proving to be more than capable of being a big play running back, as he's averaging over 8 yards per carry.

Tanner Pepper (2026, WR, Warren High School, Ohio)

Pepper has been one of the most prolific underclassmen receivers in the state of Ohio. He's put up over 100 yards receiving in 4 games this year with a game high of 165. Pepper runs good routes and gets himself open, evidenced by his multiple double digit reception games.

Zyon Newson (2025, DT, Elyria High School, Ohio)

Newson has been a force on the defensive line for Elyria High School. He's a powerful DT that doesn't just tackle, but HITS. Newson can flat our rock a ball carrier. He's not just power, as he's shown off a nice swim move that sheds blockers.
