Recruiting for the next level is tough no matter what the sport or level. So why not help some college coaches by giving them some players to be aware of? We're going to give college coaches some softball players from the class of 2026 that could be great additions to their program someday.
Amaya Serrano (2026, C / MIF, Buena High School, Arizona)
Serrano is a talented player and a defensive weapon behind the plate. She protects the plate well with a sure glove and has a rocket arm and quick release to any base. Runners have to be very aware of her. When at bat, she can get the ball of the ground and put it in the grass.
Payton Stueart (2026, C / 3B/ UTL, Bryant High School, Arkansas)
Stueart is a softball prospect that many coaches will love. She has an obvious passion for the game and for becoming the best player that she can be. She attacks the ball at the plate in the same way she attacks her development as a player. It seems like the ball moves slow for her and she can reach out and drive it.
Jaylee Rose (2026, 1B/ OF, Edgewood High School, Ohio)
Rose was recently named to the Ohio SW District All-Star Team. The righty has some punch in the bat that gives her homerun power. She can punish the ball all around the plate, making it tough to pitch around her. Rose is also very strong in the field at 1B.
Audrey Lingbeek (2026, SS / P, Otsego High School, Michigan)
Lingbeek is an elite softball prospect. She's probably one of the top 2 way players in Michigan's class of 2026. This season she hit .420 with consistent contact that led to 22 extra base hits. She was quick and covered a lot of ground in the field at shortstop. In addition, Lingbeek was ace of a pitcher, collecting 190 strikeouts.
Lilianna Acosta (2026, P / 1B, Ayala High School, California)
Acosta collected the rewards from a terrific high school season, including 1st Team All League and the Underclassmen All Star Game. She has a smooth swing with extra base and homerun power behind it. Acosta is a physically strong athlete that transfers it well to the playing field.
