1st Round Mock Draft

We're 2 weeks away from the Super Bowl and mock drafts are on the verge of being all the rage. Kamp's Korner is going to give our initial first round mock draft. We're going to avoid predicting trades and go specifically in the given draft order.

1:  Chicago Bears:  Caleb Williams (QB, USC)

We're not predicting trades, but the Justin Fields era is done.

2:  Washington Commanders:  Drake Maye (QB, North Carolina)

The Sam Howell experiment is over quickly. Maye has too much upside to pass on.

3:  New England Patriots:  Jayden Daniels (QB, LSU)

The Heisman Trophy winner can bring some electricity back to the Pats.

4:  Arizona Cardinals:  Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, Ohio State)

The Cardinals walk right into probably the most sure thing pick in the draft.

5:  Los Angeles Chargers:  Dallas Turner (Edge, Alabama)

New Head Coach Jim Harbaugh stresses line play on both sides so this is a natural fit.

6:  New York Giants:  Malik Nabors (WR, LSU0

I'd have picked an OT, but I think the Giants go with the pick with more hype.

7:  Tennessee Titans:  Joe Alt (OT, Notre Dame)

In order to build around Will Levis, they must protect Will Levis.

8:  Atlanta Falcons:  Laiatu Latu (Edge, UCLA)

This fills a need and, if healthy, Latu is a great addition in Atlanta.

9:  Chicago Bears:  Brock Bowers (TE, Georgia)

The Bears add a weapon for their new QB.

10:  New York Jets:  JC Latham (OT, Alabama)

It'd be criminal for the Jets to take anything other than the best tackle on the board.

11:  Minnesota Vikings:  Jer'Zhan Newton (DT, Illinois)

Cousins comes back and they fill a hole on the DL due to free agency.

12:  Denver Broncos:  Terrion Arnold (CB, Alabama)

They need a corner and Arnold may be the best of the bunch.

13:  Las Vegas Raiders:  JJ McCarthy (QB, Michigan)

The Raiders take a shot on a high upside QB and a proven winner.

14:  New Orleans Saints:  Olumuyiwa Fashanu (OT, Penn State)

The Saints need help up front on both sides of the ball and start here with Fashanu.

15:  Indianapolis Colts:  Rome Odunze (WR, Washington)

The Colts could have the makings of a prolific young offense.

16:  Seattle Seahawks:  Jared Verse (Edge, Florida State)

The Seahawks need to build there defense and Verse can play multiple styles.

17:  Jacksonville Jaguars:  Byron Murphy (DT, Texas)

The Jaguars need building blocks on the defensive front.

18:  Cincinnati Bengals: Brian Thomas Jr. (WR, LSU)

The Bengals have 3 receivers hitting free agency and Thomas could be a solid pick to replace 1 of them.

19:  Los Angeles Rams:  Nate Wiggins (CB, Clemson)

The Rams add to a young defense with a CB that seems like a great value at this spot in the draft.

20:  Pittsburgh Steelers:  Cooper DeJean (CB, Iowa)

A CB tandem of Joey Porter Jr. and DeJean could be a scary proposition.

21:  Miami Dolphins:  Troy Fautanu (OL, Washington)

His versatility on the line has got to be appealing to the Dolphins.

22:  Philadelphia Eagles:  Kool-Aid McKinstry (CB, Alabama)

McKinstry helps add some youth to the back side of the defense.

23:  Houston Texans:  Amarius Mims (OT, Georgia)

The Texans can't say no to protecting their prized young QB.

24:  Dallas Cowboys:  Quinyon Mitchell (CB, Toledo)

If he tests well, Mitchell may not be here. If he is, the Cowboys can't say no.

25:  Green Bay Packers:  Kamren Kinchens (S, Miami)

The Packers need at safety was made perfectly clear in their playoff loss to the 49ers.

26:  Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  Chop Robinson (Edge, Penn State)

The Bucs grab help on the edge as they try to add depth and youth to their defense.

27:  Arizona Cardinals:  Taliese Fuaga (OT, Oregon State)

The Cardinals have a lot of needs, but they add protection and time for Kyler Murray to get the ball to Marvin Harrison Jr.

28:  Buffalo Bills:  Bralen Trice (DE, Washington)

The Bills offset potential free agent losses with a good young edge.

29:  Detroit Lions:  Kamari Lassiter (CB, Georgia)

The Lions CB's struggled as the season went on. They hope for a lockdown corner in Lassiter.

30:  Baltimore Ravens:  Leonard Taylor III (DT, Miami)

Taylor could fill a key hole if the Ravens lose some of their D-line to free agency.

31:  Kansas City Chiefs:  Keon Coleman (WR, Florida State)

Coleman falls into the Chiefs laps and is perfect to line up opposite of Rashee Rice.

32:  San Francisco 48ers:  Graham Barton (OT, Duke)

The 49ers can snag a potential starter with the last pick of the 1st round.
