Colleena Bryant (2025, G, Wayne Memorial)
The Drexel commit was one of the most electric and explosive guards we've seen in some time. She could work magic using dribble combos and attacking off the bounce. Bryant led her team to the D1 semifinals.
Charlotte Miller (2025, G, Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard)
Miller capped off a generational 4 year run and will go down as one of the best Ann Arbor area players of all time. She had one of the best jumpers in the state, but also had the innate ability to score AND distribute.
Anna Wypych (2025, G, Rockford)
Wypych led her Rockford team to the D1 state title game and took home the coveted Miss Basketball award this season. The Butler commit is a versatile player that can drop 30, but is also one of the better passers in the state.
Alli Zajac (2025, G/F, Tecumseh)
Zajac is the true definition of a we not me leader. You could feel it when she played - team success over numbers. Zajac effectively led her team to a Division 2 state championship.

Sheridan Beal (2026, G, West Bloomfield)
It's a tough task for a program to lose 2 all time talents like the Davis sister. But West Bloomfield had the athletic and smooth Sheridan Beal waiting in the wings. The shot creating guard led her team to the Division 1 semifinals.
Se'Crette Carter (2026, G, Belleville)
Carter and her Belleville team won themselves a state title and she was a critical part of that equation. Carter shot the lights out all season. I once had an "expert" tell me that Carter was "just a shooter". Well, she showed them a fool. Carter was solid with the ball and showed that she could create looks.
Vanessa Rodriguez (2026, G, Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard)
Rodriguez is such an exciting player. She holds a reputation as a shooter with volleyball line type range, which is true, But she can also initiate the offense with her ball skills.
Averie Zinn (2026, G, Genesee)
You're more likely to get on a list like this if you just go around putting up video game numbers. Zinn did just that. Watching her rack up the points and steals this season gave me flashbacks to playing my brother in Pete Rose Baseball on the Atari and watching him bash 17 homeruns in right field.

Cecelia Arico (2027, G, Detroit Country Day)
Just watch her play, then you'll know why her name is here. Her basketball IQ is off the charts. Arico has the ability to take over games, in terms of numbers and otherwise.
Mia McGregor (2027, G, Mio AuSable)
If you set a school scoring record in your sophomore season, you're doing a lot of things right. She didn't just put up huge scoring numbers though. She also made her team better, helping them to an 18-6 record and a regional final game.
Sydney Savoury (2027, G, Belleville)
The super-sophomore led Belleville to a Division 1 state championship. She was literally unstoppable in the Breslin Center this season, hitting all corners of the stat sheet.
Addi Zajac (2027, F/C, Tecumseh)
Zajac is one of the more dominating underclassmen in the paint that the state of Michigan has seen. She was a living and breathing points and rebounds double-double this season. Zajac was a big reason why there's a state championship trophy at Tecumseh High School.

Kenna Hunt (2028, G, Lumen Christi)
If you watched Hunt play, it was hard to believe that she was a freshman. Her game between the ears was top notch. Hunt shouldered the load as the go-to player offensively, and she did that job very well and very efficiently.
Macy Donovan (2028, G, Frankenmuth)
It's rare to see a freshman step up and play huge in big moments, but that's what Donovan did this season. She showed excellent ball skills and a very reliable jumper, all while helping her Frankenmuth team reach the Division 2 semifinals.
Zariya McCrary (2028, G/F/, Saginaw Heritage)
McCrary is seeing the awards for her freshman season roll in by the bunches. Add them all up, and she had an elite freshman season. McCrary gets downhill with the ball and can pull up anytime and hit a jumper. She rebounds well off the wing and is an athletic defender.
Lucy Young (2028, F, Hackett Catholic)
Young put up some jaw dropping numbers in her freshman season. She went for over 30 points twice and had more double-doubles that I barely had the fingers and thumbs to count them.
