The Players And The Numbers

There have been some interesting numbers popping up as of late in the basketball world. Let's take a look at a few numbers and the players involved that caught our eye at Kamp's Korner.

Sadie Dykstra (2026, G/F, Yale)

- Recently scored her 1000th point

Dykstra finished with 28 points in a win against Lapeer and crossed the 1000 point mark. The star player has been a consistent scorer since she entered high school. Best part maybe that she's just as good on the other end of the floor.

Jenessa Eagle (2026, G, Ishpeming)

- Recently scored her 1000th point

A solid source recently reminded me that there's some really nice girls basketball talent in northern Michigan right now. Eagle certainly fits that bill. Eagle is collecting the accomplishments, adding this to her Ishpeming team's state title last season.

Kennedy Gustafson (2025, F, Saugatuck)

- Scored her 1000th point in December and is just 11 rebounds away from 1000

Gustafson is the type of athlete that's just good at sports. Hand her a ping pong paddle and she'll probably ace us 11-0. That being said, it's no surprise that she's going to be reaching the 1000 point mark in multiple statistical categories.

Rayah Hitt (2026, G, Parma Western)

- Recently scored her 1000th point

When your team is 14-1 (with the 1 loss to an elite team in the state) and you score your 1000th point, something is going right. Hitt is a high IQ offensive player that reads the game and reads matchups. This has helped the talented guard reach the 1000 point mark already in her junior season.

Molly Jenkins (2027, G, Milford)

- Tied a school record with 7 3 pointers in a game

The best part of this is that she tied her own teammates record. Talk about a team that can fill it up from beyond the arc. Jenkins is an underrated shooter and overall prospect. She's a solid all around athlete with good footwork and fluidity of movement.

Kylee Killeen (2026, G, Gobles)

- A good old fashioned double double-double

That's generally what I call a 20-20 performance. Well Killeen did it in a win over Marcellus. She finished the game with 26 points and 20 rebounds. She threw in 6 assists and 4 steals for good measure.

AJ Rickli (2025, F/C, Paw Paw)

- Became Paw Paw's all time leading scorer

Rickli is a star among stars and has an elite place in the history of basketball at Paw Paw High School. She has elite offensive post footwork and some of the best post moves in the state of Michigan.

Audrey Walker (2030, PG, MI/TX, UTS)

- 1

That seems simple right? Well, 1 is a huge number when you're talking about offers going to a PG in the class of 2030. The dynamic guard picked up an offer from Robert Morris. Other D1 programs are already showing strong interest as well.

Molly Walker (2026, G, Kingston)

- Recently scored her 1000th point

Walker did it in style, torching the nets for 28 points in a hard fought victory against Ubly. She's always been a dynamic scorer that has a very reliable jumper and can attack the rim with straight line speed with the ball.

Amal Younes (2025, G, Walled Lake Northern)

- Recently scored her 1000th point

Welcome to the record books Amal Younes. After watching her this past summer and this high school season, the 1000 point mark seemed inevitable. She's a lights out shooter that can groove her jumper. And when she does, it's nothing less than a game changer.
