Player Impressions - Parma Western @ Williamston

Parma Western traveled to Williamston. Williamston used good passing and a patient offense to stay within striking distance of Parma Western through 2 and a half quarters of the game. But Parma Western used an abundance of athletes and dominance in the paint to pull way and earn a 55-33 victory.

There were a lot of talented players on the court in this game and we're going to take a look at some of the player impressions from the contest.

Aubree Allen (2026, F/C, Parma Western)

Allen showed what a dominant force she can truly be. She absolutely controlled the paint offensively. The defense tried to front her early, but she caught a pass over the top of the defender for an easy lay in. When they defended from behind, Allen consistently earned position on the block and caught the pass cleanly. From there she showed that she could spin and score over both shoulders. When she didn't spin, Allen's power moves through defenders were equally as effective. She even buried a catch and shoot 3 for good measure. Allen controlled the defensive glass and even showed the ability to pass to the post from the perimeter.

Abby Brannan (2027, G, Williamston)

Brannan had herself a really nice game. For me as a scout and evaluator of talent, this game put her on my map. She was a well rounded scorer that played big in big moments. Impressive for a sophomore. Brannan started things out by hitting a deep catch and shoot wing triple. She then hit the offensive glass and drew a foul on a put back attempt. Brannan even went with her back to the basket and finished over her left shoulder while drawing a foul. She showed some creativity with a reverse layup finish. Brannan put her passing on display when she threw a strong kick pass to the post for an assist.

Rayah Hitt (2026, G, Parma Western)

Hitt was, and almost always is, a high impact player in this game. She showed the ability to play off and shoot off a screen early in the game when she connected on a deep wing 3. Hitt was crafty with the ball all game long. She had a nasty left to right crossover with a scoop finish at the rim that was highlight reel worthy. Hitt found space on the weakside and took an over the top pass across the lane for a score. She even scored as an inbounder when she cut off the pass and the ball came back to her for a layup. Hitt had a pretty spin move into a mid range jumper that she connected on.

Anna Judit (2025, G/F, Williamston)

The Williamston senior showed some game. Judit showed some good court vision and awareness on a kick out pass from the free throw line to a shooter from behind the arc. She was also able to score from multiple levels. Judit caught a feed on the block, went to her left and drew a foul. She hit 1 of 2 from the line. She also had a creative reverse layup finish under the rim. Judit showed range on her jumper with a deep catch and shoot wing triple.

Bayli Stewart (2025, G, Parma Western)

Stewart was such a smooth athlete and high IQ player in the game against Williamston. It might have been her defense that stood out the most in this game. She was able to cause some chaos when playing chin to chin defense on the ball handler. Stewart knew when to take chances and trust the gap help. She had at least 1 deflection and 1 steal in the game. Offensively, there were multiple instances when she used her patience and pivot foot to find or create looks at the rim. Stewart had a nice over the top post feed for an assist early in the game.

Jynelle Lewis (2025, PG, Parma Western)

Lewis was a key part of Parma Western's success in this game. She was very comfortable playing as a floor leader and primary ball handler. Not just comfortable with it, but very good at it as well. Lewis had quickness with the ball and could handle well with both hands. Her post feeds had some real zip on them and made them tough for defenders to react to. Lewis showed blow by speed with the ball when attacking with her right and finishing with a layup with her defender on her hip.
