End Of The Week Standouts

There has been a lot of high quality basketball to end the week around the state of Michigan. We're going to give you 10 players that stood out with their end of the week performances.

Christen Banks (2025, G/F, Southfield A&T)

Banks is supremely underrated. I really believe that she's one of the more talented players in the state of Michigan. She sure showed that in a win last night. Banks went off for a 35 point and 15 rebound double-double. She even threw in 4 steals for good measure.

Jordyn Bonnema (2025, G, Kalamazoo Christian)

Jordyn Bonnema is just a really, really good basketball player. That simple. Last night she led her team to a win with 35 points, a school single game record. And get this - she did it only playing in 3 quarters and without even being shot heavy.

Sophie Fox (2027, F, Au Gres-Sims)

Au Gres-Sims hadn't beat Hillman in 9 years. Well Fox wasn't going to let that streak continue. She had a huge points and rebound double-double in the 52-26 win. Fox finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Her post defense continues to shine.

Madeline Frank (2026, F, Inter-City Baptist)

Frank had a big time game when her team needed her to. Inter-City Baptist won a thrilling OT game against Edsel Ford and Frank was critical in the win. She came 1 rebound short of a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 9 rebounds, while also dishing out 6 assists.

Gabby Gaydosh (2028, G, Columbia Central)

Gaydosh's talent was undeniable, even as a middle schooler. Well, it might be even more obvious now in high school. The smooth guard brought it on both ends of the floor in a win against Homer. She finished with 23 points and 3 steals.

Breeghan Hamilton (2026, G, Heritage)

Hamilton had a day in her team's win against Saginaw United. She hit all 4 corners of the stat sheet in a well rounded performance. She led the way with a game high 16 points. Hamilton also added 6 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

Aj Rickli (2025, F, Paw Paw)

Paw Paw picked up a big win against a talented Vicksburg team. But that's just part of the story. In the process of the getting the victory, Aj Rickli became the school's all time leading scorer. That's a big time achievement from a big time basketball player.

Allie Stockton (2027, G, Dow)

Stockton had a HUGE night in the Dow win. The 23 points will draw eyes, but it goes much deeper than that. She scored those points while shooting an eye-popping 64% from the field. She added 11 rebounds for the double-double. Oh yeah, Stockton also picked up 6 steals.

Anna Wypych (2025, G, Rockford)

Wypych continues to make a claim for a seat at the final table for Miss Basketball. She led the way in a Rockford win against a talented Grand Haven team by scoring a game high 24 points. That number was even more impressive given the defensive intensity of the contest.

Lucy Young (2028, F/C, Hackett Catholic)

Here's that name again. I guess we should get used to seeing it. I'm thinking we could start saying "one of the better freshman in the midwest". Young led her team to a tough win against Schoolcraft. She finished with 24 points and 3 rebounds.
