There are any number of teams that are talented enough to get to the Final 4. A team like Saginaw Heritage has elite young talent that can get hot and beat anybody. Utica Eisenhower has been so steady all season long. Those are just a couple of many examples of teams that have realistic Breslin Center dreams and goals. All that being said, Kamp's Korner is going to give you our prediction of the Division 1 Final 4.
BELLEVILLE
This isn't breaking news, but if I had to pick a favorite going in, it'd be Belleville. They have the best player in the state in super sophomore Sydney Savoury. She's a nationally ranked wing with an elite combination of power and precision. But it's not just her. She's surrounded by top notch talent like sharp shooting guard Se'Crette Carter and veteran floor leader Rylan Buschell.
UTICA FORD
I've been trying to tell anyone that would listen about this team, way before season started. They have what it takes to make a Final 4 run and I believe that they will. Anayya Davis could make a pretty solid argument as to why she should have been at the final table for Miss Basketball. That's the kind of season that the GVSU commit is having. Tyra Wright, who recently committed to Jackson College, is a top notch energy defender with a tremendous game between the ears.
WAYNE MEMORIAL
I don't call Wayne Memorial Point Guard U for no reason. It's been a long time since they DIDN'T have a D1 caliber floor general. Well, this season they have 2 of them. Colleena Bryant, a senior Drexel commit, is a wizard with the ball in her hands. She make it disappear in front of her defender. Mariah Cross is a junior that has committed to Temple. She can play at a fast pace and can light it up from beyond the arc.
ROCKFORD
The 2023 Division 1 state champions look to bring the trophy back to Rockford. The talent is most certainly there to do just that. Anna Wypych is not just an elite star, but the Butler commit is a seasoned veteran that has led her team to the Final 4 the last 2 years. There is excellent talent surrounding her as well with Kate Higgins, Addison Wypych and Jordan Mateer. Those 3 were each name OK Red All-Conference.
