It's been a chilly few days here in Michigan, even leading to many schools and games being cancelled and postponed. But even on a cold night, we saw some shooters and scorers that were on fire.
Samantha Beller (2026, G, Davison)
Beller continued a solid junior season in an impressive Davison win against Carman Ainsworth. She's impressed all season with her ability to score and handle in traffic and was able to do so once again. Beller went off for 22 points in the game.
Izzy Depestel (2025, G, Hartland)
Hartland is making some noise this season and so is their senior guard. Depestel heated up and led her Hartland team to a big win against Canton. She paced her team by scorching the nets for 23 total points.
Gracyn Houck (2027, G, Brighton)
Brighton picked up a huge 65-61 overtime win against Salem last night. Houck heated up in the game. The last time I saw her play, it was probably her passing that impressed me most, but in this game, it was her scoring that ruled the day. Houck can score both attacking the rim and with her jumper. She did these on her way to scoring 24 points.
Ashlyn Lutz (2028, G, Milford)
Lutz is one of the most talented freshman shooters and scorers in the state of Michigan. She was feeling her game last night and helped Milford to a victory against Clio. Lutz shot and scored her way to a 20 point outing.
Rayven McQueen (2025, G/F, Grand Blanc)
McQueen continues to prove any doubters wrong. The Detroit Mercy commit got hot offensively in a win against a talented Dow team. McQueen led the way with 20 points on the night.
Aubrin Miller (2026, G, Lakeland)
Lakeland earned an impressive 53-20 victory and Miller sparked the win. She's had a solid season as a versatile guard. Miller heated up last night to the tune of a game high 16 points.
Katie Patterson (2025, G/F, Riverview)
Riverview lost against an excellent Chelsea squad, but Patterson managed to get hot offensively. She scored 24 of team's 45 points. Patterson has always been a hustle and energy player with a solid mid range game.
Kiely Robinson (2025, F/C, Rochester)
In my opinion, Robinson can be very underrated. O feel like she can be a points and rebounds double-double threat consistently and also has the ability to be a rim protector. Last night it was her offensive numbers that stood out in a 54-43 win against Fraser. Robinson paced her team with 24 total points.
Tess Tillman (2025, G/F, Shrine Catholic)
Tillman is a well rounded player with intriguing positional size and skills. Her game is very well rounded and all aspects of it were firing last night. Tillman led Shrine to a 50-25 win against Bishop Foley. She finished with a 24 point and 13 rebound double-double.
Isabel Wotlinski (2025, G, Lake Orion)
The Calvin College commit certainly heated up in the 49-44 Lake Orion win against Berkley. She's been a high level scorer all season with multiple 20 point outings. It continued last night with her 29 point performance. Oh yeah, Wotlinski has been one of the better rebounding guards this season as well and she added 9 of those.
