The Division 3 Final 4 was an impressive collection of teams and athletes! Lutheran Northwest advanced to the finals with a hard fought 48-33 win against Calumet. On the other side of the bracket, Arbor Prep reached the finals with an instant classic win against a talented Niles-Brandywine squad. In the championship game, Arbor Prep locked down with a 32-21 win and took home the state title trophy.
We're going to name a Division 3 1st and 2nd Team All-Final 4, as well as name a D3 Final 4 MVP.
Angela Meggisson (2026, G, Arbor Prep)
Meggisson was clutch in the semis, hitting 2 free throws to win the game. She averaged a double-double in the Final 4 with 11.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game.
Morgan Griswold (2025, G, Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest)
Griswold had a 12 point and 11 rebound double-double in the semifinals. Her dominating game was a huge reason Lutheran Northwest advanced. She had 6 points and 6 boards in the championship game.
Eliza Bush (2025, G, Arbor Prep)
Bush's numbers don't tell the entire story. Her poise and efficiency is a tale that will be told for years. She averaged 9 points per game as the initiator of the offense.
Jalaya Banks (2027, G, Arbor Prep)
Banks was so big on the glass in the round of 4, securing 13 rebounds, 4 of which were on the offensive end and extended possessions. Banks had 3 key steals in the title game.
Paige Macavage (2026, G, Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest)
Macavage led her team in scoring in the semifinals and was key in her team reaching the final game. She had a solid all around game with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Jourdin Lewis (2025, G/F, Arbor Prep)
Lewis was very efficient in a defensive battle in the title game. She had 7 points while shooting 50% from the field. Lewis also added 6 rebounds in the game.
Charlotte Gramzow (2026, G/F, Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest)
Gramzow was impressive in the Final 4. She had 7 points in the semis and added 5 points and 7 rebounds in the finals.
Jess Anderson (2027, G, Calumet)
Anderson established herself as a player to watch over the next couple of years. She had a team high 10 points and added 6 boards in the semifinals.
Adeline Gill (2025, F, Niles Brandywine)
Gill scored over half of her team's points in the round of 4, finishing with a game high 16. She also grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 2 assists.
Karleigh Byrd (2026, G, Niles Brandywine)
I mentioned Byrd's defense in an earlier article and that's the primary reason her name is here. I really like how she defended in the semifinals.
Angela Meggisson (2026, G, Arbor Prep)
Meggisson had a more than memorable trip to the Breslin Center. She was the driving force behind Arbor Prep proving that they are an elite program in the state of Michigan. When you average a points and rebounds double-double in 2 of the biggest games you'll ever play - that's an MVP weekend.
