Imani Johnson (SF, Detroit Renaissance)

I've always loved what Johnson brings to the table as a player and prospect. While there's a lot of coverage in regards to dribble moves, dribble combos, etc......the best part of her game is her influence on BOTH ends of the floor. She can defend smaller guards, but has the positional height and length to shut down high level SF's as well. She's an athletic defender that sees the ball defensively and recognizes opportunities to create turnovers. Johnson can be a threat filling the wing in the open floor and she is a threat to pull up for a jumper off the bounce from anywhere on the floor.

Mariah Kerley (SG, East Jackson)

Kerley has a lot to offer a program at the next level. If a coach wants a tough and physical wing, they should make the trip to East Jackson. I've seen Kerley play more than multiple times both in person and on film, and seeing her aggressiveness is way better in person. She doesn't "play through contact", but instead initiates the contact and plays off of it. This can earn Kerley a good amount of trips to the free throw line. There's more to her game as well. Kerley is the type of well rounded player that can hit all corners of the stat sheet.

Makara Obande (CG, Unity Christian)

Obande is an underrated star from Unity Christian that will be a big time steal at the next level.. She had a big time grassroots season while playing against top notch competition. Obande has some positional versatility. You can put her at the point because of her handles, but she does great work creating as a wing as well. She's flat out an elite ball handler in the state of Michigan. Obande can move the ball in a hurry with her straight line speed with the ball. When she gets in a 1-on-1 situation, she has a variety of moves and counter moves that she can use to blow by or create space.

Ari'Yana Wiggins (SG, Detroit Country Day)

Wiggins is a wing that will be a great addition at the next level, both in the locker room and on the basketball court. First of all, Wiggins is a stone cold shooter. She can groove her jumper and when she starts feeling it, her opponents need to go into look out mode. But Wiggins IS NOT just a shooter. In fact, she's very unselfish with the ball and has a knack for finding shooters with the pass. Wiggins is severely underrated as a perimeter passer. With her ability to shoot and willingness and ability to move the ball to other shooters, I believe that her upside is very high.

Jaidyn Woods (SG, Detroit Edison)

Woods has that "it factor". Don't pay attention to any rankings with dynamic guard. For me, her game more than passes the eye test for me. I've seen Woods go toe to toe with some great players and absolutely take it to them. She has next level explosiveness off the bounce and can put defenders on her hip. Woods is a consistent and strong finisher when she gets to the rim as well. Her jumper has continued to improve throughout her time in high school and she has actually turned that into a strength in her game. Woods could end up as a big time steal for a college program.
