Any college coach that's looking for 2025's, there are definitely some talented players with their name still on the board. Kamp's Korner is going to give you 5 of the top unsigned senior point guards.
Colleena Bryant (PG, Wayne Memorial)
Wayne Memorial has a long and healthy track record of seeing high quality guards come from their program. It's no surprise as Head Coach Jarvis Mitchell is one of the top skill coaches around. Bryant fits that WM mode to a tee. She's electric with the ball and has the ability to shake basically any defender that comes her way. Bryant simply creates for herself and her teammates off the bounce. She's not just a 1-on-1 player though. Bryant can feed the post and get the ball to it's spots in a half court set. Bryant, as proven by offers, is a clear cut D1 talent.
Tyra Wright (CG, Henry Ford II)
Wright is one of the most underrated players in the state at any position. Let's start with her current skills and abilities. She naturally brings energy and effort to the court and does it at both ends. I've sat courtside and watched Wright go against elite players, hit the floor and out work them. She's a solid ball handler and can shoot and score from multiple levels. Wright is full of upside as well. I would never cap her talent. She's a true student of the game. That gives her an advantage now with her basketball IQ, but it also lends way to continued growth in her game. With a dedicated worker like Wright, a college coach can be sure that they're getting a player that will continue to improve.
Amal Younes (PG, Walled Lake Northern)
I first saw Younes in the summer of 2022. Way back then, I loved the way she attacked off the bounce and made plays on offense. Younes has built an excellent all around game off that skill set. She keeps the ball low and protected and has a purpose for every dribble. I thought that Younes had a tremendous grassroots season and really caught a lot of eyes. She looked more than comfortable going both ways with the ball and creating space with her defender. Younes has always been able to get a bucket, but I think she's improved greatly as a dynamic distributor.
Hannah Tamou (CG, Sterling Heights Stevenson)
Tamou was tremendous this summer during grassroots season. She really caught a lot of eyes with the Michigan Knights. A college coach would be adding a true 2 way guard. She has a nose for the ball and has been making plays on the defensive end this high school season. Tamou has played fast on defense and forced turnovers through perimeter pressure and jumping the passing lanes. She has positional versatility as well. Tamou can play the point, but doesn't have to be ball heavy to do so effectively. She can even slide to the 2 as well.
Selena Titus (PG, Jension)
Titus is a next level guard. It's just that simple. Her game has grown so much in the last 2 years and I truly believe that it will continue to do so. Titus is the kind of person and player that a coach wants in their program. Titus can and will blaze her own path and is happy to face any challenge ahead. She simply makes a team stronger, both skill wise and mentally. Titus is smart with the ball and makes the right pass at the right time. She can create and score, but is very smart about when and where to do so.
