5 Junior Wings College Coaches Should Watch

There is a lot of wing talent in the state of Michigan, specifically in the junior class. We're going to give you a closer look at 5 wings that college coaches need to see play.

Jaebri'an Autry (2026, Detroit Renaissance)

Autry is playing some stellar basketball this high school season and is showing definite next level talent. She has impressed us with her patience on the offensive end. Autry is never in too big of a hurry when attacking the basket. She's more than willing to take a jump stop and use her pivot foot to create space. Autry has shot the ball well, showing a tough mid range game and 3 point range on her jumper.

Brynn Norbeck (2026, Fraser)

Norbeck is an impressive player that would be a great addition to a program at the next level. Norbeck has been a consistent scorer for Fraser this season, often helping spark her team offensively. But that's just a small part of her game. Norbeck is the type of player that's ready and willing to play whatever role her team needs to pick up a W. She was an All-Conference player as a sophomore and will be again this year as a junior.

Tanner Schramm (2026, Goodrich)

Schramm is one of the most intriguing prospects out there. She's the type of player where the stat line doesn't necessarily tell the complete story. Schramm has the uncommon combination of post strength and perimeter skills. She's a flat out beast on the defensive end, where she can swipe the ball away from opposing guards or come from behind a ball handler or post player and block the shot. Schramm can shoot from deep as well as utilize a solid ball fake and attack the rim with her right.

Ava Tate (2026, Portage Central)

Tate has had a really good high school season so far and is definitely gaining traction as a player and prospect. Tate is an athletic and relentless defender that has the ability to attack her assignment and lock them down. She's a solid shooter off the catch that recognizes what a good look is. Tate is a well rounded player that can pass on the move and will chase down a good amount of boards.

Lizzie Wolthuis (2026, South Chrstian)

I've been very high on Wolthuis' talent for a while now. Her play this season has just confirmed that. She has all the intangibles - positional height and ball skills, a dedicated hard worker and a positive team first attitude. She was one of the better pure shooters even a couple of years ago, and she's just gotten better. Wolthuis catches the ball in rhythm and stays focused on the rim. She has the ability to simply shoot over top of the defense and it takes a perfect closeout to defend her jumper. Wolthuis isn't just a shooter though,
