2026's To Watch At LBI April Showers

LBI's April Showers is a well established event that will feature some elite teams and players from Michigan and surrounding states. We are going to take a closer look at a few of the talented 2026's that will be at the event.

Emersyn Bachelder (2026, G, Morenci, Michigan Cobras)

Bachelder tipped off grassroots season with an impressive first week, having games of 26 and 16 points. She's a scorer at heart that just has a knack for finding looks and converting on the offensive end. Bachelder is a much improved passer and defender as well.

Kylan Dillingham (2026, F, Michigan Mystics National, Williamston)

Dillingham is a really intriguing prospect. She's the type of player can have an impact and an influence from all over the floor. Dillingham can shoot like a high level wing with range that extends beyond the arc. But she can also do the dirty work around the rim.

MacKenzi Duthie (2026, F, Michigan Drive Premier S40 - Saldana, Howell)

I saw Duthie play this high school season and was very impressed. She plays much bigger than her height, using a natural feel for space and positioning. Duthie has a nose for the ball off the rim and is a consistent factor on the offensive glass. She's versatile as well, with the ability step out and face the rim.

Lilly Thelen (2026, G, Always 100 Grind 2026, Portland)

Thelen is a well rounded guard that can play effectively both on and off the ball. She's a terrific shooter that's a constant threat from behind the arc. And it's not just off the catch. Thelen has developed excellent ball skills and can move her defender with her handles. This helps her create space for her jumper off the bounce.

Faith Zoldos (2026, G, Michigan Crossover 17u EYCL)

Zoldos has just continued to get better over the last year plus. I don't think she's even close to being done improving either. She's fearless when attacking the rim and it shows with her willingness and ability to play and score through contact and draw fouls. I really like the way that she attacks the baseline and her ability to both score and dish when she touches paint.
