Softball Exposure - 8/30

There are a lot of talented softball players out there that deserve to get more recognition and exposure as prospects. Let's look at some of those players!

Madelyn Gates (2026, MIF / CF / UTL, Bloom Carroll High School, Ohio
Gates was very good this summer with the Ohio Stingrays. She's definitely established herself as a player that coaches will want to track. Gates had .545 OBP and a .952 fielding percentage. She protected the stroke zone, ending the summer with only 8 strikeouts.

Ellia Chai (2024, 2B / SS / OF, Foothill High School, California)

Chai is an impressive softball player with next level skills. Her swing looks very pure and she has a reputation for being willing to work relentlessly on all aspects of it. Chai is smooth and concise at the plate and has the ability to maximize every swing. She showed opposite field power this summer with the OCBatbusters Aldrich 18u.

Jasmine Feliciano (2025, 2B / SS / OF, Beverly High School, Massachusetts)

Feliciano has the skill set and work ethic needed to be an impact player at the next level. She turned a lot of heads at the All-American Games earlier this summer, where she hit .429 and was one of the better defensive players there. Feliciano is able to move the ball around at the plate and hit to openings.

Ashley Herman (2026, RHP / SS, Northgate High School, California)

Herman is a very high upside softball prospect that many coaches will want to keep their eyes on. She's an excellent middle infielder that features quick feet and fast reaction times. Herman can cover a lot of ground and can go up and get the ball in the air as well. She's a terrific pitching prospect that can work the corners and get movement.

Bella Harper (2025, MIF, Whitney High School, California)

Harper is a softball prospect that has a very bright future! She's a terrific contact hitter that will force pitchers to move the ball. Harper has an excellent arm in the field and is a very good middle infielder. She has a soft glove that really welcomes the ball.
